What Color is a Burp?

Journal Entry: Mon Jul 13, 2009, 8:06 PM
...why, "Burple" of course. ;p

*listens to the crickets*

Mmmmm...

I had a near death experience that has changed me forever.

The other day I went horseback riding. Everything was going fine until the horse started bouncing out of control. I tried with all my might to hang on, but I was thrown off. Just when things could not possibly get worse, my foot got caught in the stirrup. When this happened, I fell head first to the ground. My head continued to bounce harder as the horse did not stop or even slow down. Just as I was giving up hope and losing consciousness, the Walmart manager came out and unplugged it. Thank Goodness for heroes!

... No?

Okay, I give up. Speaking of horses though... *listens to the groans again* I have made a decision to learn Dressage once I've lost my goal weight. And not with Tanners
but with Gracie
... And you wanna know what the stupidest thing is about this decision? I hate riding English! :o And how did I come to this decision? Well, my little brother is going to be riding my horse (Tanners) at the fair this year, and I realized that I miss showing him... and I'm admittedly just a little jealous. (I mean not only is he riding with friends and having fun... but on MY horse!) But anywho, I'm too old for 4H obviously... BUT as our new 4H leader/trainer/friends pointed out, I could still do open classes and other events if I so chose. Of course I knew this, but never really thought about doing such things with my time. After all, those kinds of things are only for the rich people... or so I thought. But then I figured, why not? It's not like I do anything else except go to work, go to church, and stay home... * has no social life :dead: * Who knows, maybe I'll meet a fellow horse-loving guy during such adventures... :eyes: As to why Gracie? Well Tanner's is turning 16 this year... all he really knows is trail-riding and the Western saddle. Though I love him to pieces, I have to face the reality that he's only got about 10 more years on him... 15 maybe. Gracie is still new and is still being taught new things... and after watching her prace around in the pasture numerous times... I've come to the realization that trail-riding doesn't have to be her only cup of tea... Gracie... is a dancer.
SO! Perhaps in the next year or two at this time... Chako will be riding English. *takes a moment to shudder at her own insanity* We've already been talking to a trainer who'll be more than happy to teach us both. ^_^

Now that I've bored you all with that; I have a few little art updates...

I AM currently working on 3 different commissions/projects. Church has been knocking on my eardrums 'n eyeballs this past week, and it didn't feel right taking on their stuff before finishing on others' projects. So I've finally kicked myself really hard in the arse over the weekend to put a good hefty dent in them. So those of you who are waiting ever so patiently for your pieces... First, I apologize. I do like my sunshine... (I see so very little of it here in my state... at least when it's 60 degrees above zero anyway)and I have been trying to loose weight so I've been trying to stay moving. Because of the whole "seriously need a new car" thing, when I'm not outside, I've been at work. :surrender: Anywho, fear not! In my haste to complete your pieces, I will not skimp anything. I would never send rushed art. Your pieces WILL be finished before the end of the month. <_<`

And now... I'm off to find the shower. Because, strangely... all I smell is horse. :o

I do! Well, I've slowed down some now that I've crossed over into the realm of adult-hood. Most of this fanfic is sitting in two 5-subject binders, each filled with 5 or 6 single-subject and 3-subject notebooks... handwritten... from front to back. (I had no computer when this all got started) My friend and I started it back int like '97 when we were in highschool, and I continued writting on it 'til about 2001 maybe 2002? Old habits die hard though. I 've continued to draw and write snippets from that version of Mobius ever since. Last summer, when I had no internet and nobody to RP with, I started a new "chapter" as it were... only I restarted everything 3 years from wherever I left off; mostly to fit it in and around all my sketches from the last 4 years.

Unforunately, like most folks these days... I'm often too busy to finish, and when I do sit down to write/type on it, I often wonder if it's even worth my time. :hmm:

Ah.. I understand that. |3; I never finish my stories either.. XD; I don't really have the time.. what with my friends dragging me everywhere and stuff XDD... but.. I DO want to start a comic ^w^. Matve I will this summer :3 ^w^

Elise is EVIL!!!!!!!!
New art teachers aren't so bad. My junior year we got one fresh out of college. He brought in new ideas, new techniques, new projects to work on, was funny, and he was uber cute to boot. :aww: At least my friends and I thought so... <_<`

Strict? The man was probally only 5 or 6 years older than we were! :XD: LoL! He only got strict if someone ticked him off. An you know how some people are... they like to push buttons on an authority figure just to how long it takes to tick 'em off. Nope, Mr. Pataconi was as laid back as they come. ^_^
