Since so many have requested via note or otherwise... I have decided to allow this image to become a print. Sadly, because the image itself is only 1" x 1.5" wide (according to my computer) it is only avaible as a 5" x 5" or as a coffee mug. Thankyou all for your interest and encouragement for my work.

-Flight Path and Cookies-

It felt wonderful!
The wind dancing happily
Through her outstretched wings.

She dips.
She bends.
She dances on the wind.

Her playmate
Her conveyer
Her lilting little friend.

She cherished these dances
Upon the ever blowing wind.

And a summer wind at that!
Whose playful tresses
Always carried a sweet scent of grass--

A squawk of happy delight
Zooms through the air
As blue feathers and fur
Hurdle earthward
In a mad dash and rush.

Below her
What a surprise!

Cookies,
Cookies,
COOKIES!!

She pounces
Now quick
On the sweets below
Her normal high flight path
Forgotten, left aside
For the sugary promise
Of the cookies that were
Suddenly everywhere.

I was bored. Can you tell? 'Tis a hodge-podge of Prisma colored pencils, and a photograph of a cookie ( before I ate it... ) I played around with some filters via photoshop 4 to get it to match my colored pencils.

I should go clean something...

The Oreo brand of cookies is tradmarked by Nabisco which is one of many offshoots of the Kraft Foods Co. (And the only reason I know that is because I work in retail~)
