Edit as of November 10th 2006:
I've stolen my mother's camera and retook the picture. It's still not quite the same as the orginal, but it's a hell of a lot better than the other photo. This one's closer to what it actually looks like. I know some details are still kinda fuzzy, but eh. That's what happens when you have to stand 3ft away to get a photo of it.
Anywho... This was commish that I'd gotten like two or three months ago. I finally applied myself to it. I would work on it for about 20min and put it down, look at it, trip over it, kick it off my bed.... Then last week after I had it up on illustration board I don't know what I did wrong, but it flopped. I wasn't happy with it. So I burned that chunk of cresent board, really... I burned it I was that mad! and started over.
I think one of the biggest challenges was that the gryphon was white. You'd think that a white creature would be easy. But it's not, really. And then the second challenge was I absolutely couldn't think of a decent background (another reason the cresent board flopped) In the end I decided that a simple background with poofy clouds was the best way to go.
So, yeah. Anyway... Sorry Reh it took me so long... I'm lazy~
Prisma colored pencil on

Yeah, the flash kinda makes the whites "bleed" extra light and distorts the image. It also picked up the glitter paint as only "white" too. I just hope the Reh likes it.
The wings are amazing!
Great work!
Ah well, the glow gives the feathers a nice glossy look! ^^
Thanks for the comment.
