So like, I don't really draw wolves very well. So, this picture is nothing more than a practice sketch on a wolf's head. I think my problem lies within their noses/muzzles. (I think it's more of a mind over matter thing... kinda like drawing people... ) If anyone has any tips to combat this mental nonsense, I'm welcome to it.
the colors and fur texture are done really well. heh, you tend to draw canines almost more like hedgehogs (i swear thats the first thing i thought) the muzzle looks to be the right length, but its too narrow. wolves have bigger, heavy square muzzles. i think its the lips that throw me off. its very :3 which is more cat-like. ack! i have rambled!

I'm a wolf freak so I may can try to help you out some. Even though I can't really draw wolves all that well now. But I seem to get their muzzles somewhat right. And including. I've been around a REAL wolf.
A Wolf's muzzle is abit longer and wider. Like a.. Husky's muzzles. But sometimes. It depends on what type and kind of wolf your drawing. Best way I can think of on how to draw a wolf is to look at a picture of one. That's what I do. ^^
I hope that helps some I'm not good at explaining or giving a art advice.

When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
Have a great time everyone and please fav this article so as many people can see the featured works. I would recommend seeing each one and faving them too.
